A team of 25 NABARD officers visited ICAR-CISH, Lucknow on 3rd Nov 2022 for an exposure visit-cum-training in horticultural interventions developed by CISH. The team of the NABARD officials visit CISH museum Where the technologies, interventions and models exhibited in the museum were discussed by Dr. S.K Shukla. After visit to museum, lectures were delivered by experts in the committee room. Dr. D. Pandey (Acting Director) made a brief presentation about CISH highlights. Other topics like Production Technologies, Disease, insect pest management and hydroponics/aeroponics were delivered by Dr. S.K Shukla, Dr. P.K Shukla and Dr. S.R Singh, respectively. Visits to institute research farm, nursery and processing laboratory were arranged by Dr. Dushyant Mishra, Er. D.K Shukla and Dr. S.R Singh. During the visit detailed discussions were held on practical aspects of canopy management, processing, hydroponics, aeroponics and nursery techniques.
